Trans performance connecting rods include H-Beam and I-Beam steel types. H-Beam steel rod is precision forged of 4340 aircraft quality steel and are forged in two pieces to insure proper grain flow. All surfaces are then CNC machined into our track proven H-Beam design and shot-peened to relieve stress. We then install silicon bronze bushings for increased wear resistance and precision ground alignment sleeves in the rod cap to prevent cap walk under high horsepower loads. I-Beam steel rod is including lightweight and ultralight. Then are designed for high horsepower applications where strength is mandatory. They are manufactured of 4340 steel which provides the excellent strength to weight ratio. Then fully machined on the latest in CNC equipment to ensure dimensional accuracy.
